Early Days in the Dakota Territory by Katharina Blilie
This story is an attempt to document the founding of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Orland Township, and it's Ladies Aide. There are several references to my ancestors in this story. Specifically Erick Olson, his wife Carrie and thier son Mathinus.
Lake Co., SD - Description and History, 1884
This file is a complete transcription of the descriptive information about Lake County as found in A. T. Andreas' "Historical Atlas of Dakota", 1884.
Note: This record is located on the SDGENWEB web site provided by rootsweb.com. It is not my work, doesn't specifically relate to any of my family but does provide a good general description of the area the Olson and Larsons lived in.
